As temperatures continue to rise, extrusion equipment is entering a critical period of high-temperature, high-load operation. To ensure stable equipment performance and prevent failures caused by high temperatures, please pay attention to the following maintenance guidelines:


1. Check the cooling circuit: During summer, when coolant water temperature is high, ensure that the pump is operating properly and that the piping is unobstructed. Use softened or distilled water as the cooling medium, and regularly clean scale deposits from the cooling channels of the barrel, screw, and gearbox to prevent material degradation or component overheating due to poor heat dissipation.
2. Clean the cooling components: Regularly remove dust and debris from the main motor fan, the cooler (heat sink), and the air conditioning/filters of the electrical control cabinet. Poor ventilation can cause the motor to overload and trip the circuit breaker, or the electrical components to overheat and malfunction.


3. Inspection of the external cooling water circulation system: Check that the external cooling circulation pipelines are unobstructed and free from blockages. Regularly clean and replace the filter elements of the pipelines; Monitor the operating pressure, flow rate and working conditions of the circulating water pumps; Timely remove the sludge, debris and algae inside the cooling towers and water tanks to ensure stable water pressure for external water supply and sufficient cooling water flow, providing reliable cooling support for the temperature control systems of all equipment along the line.


4. Inspection of the cooling system of the single screw extruder: Regularly inspect the cooling water circulation pipelines of the discharge section and the gearbox of the single screw extruder. Ensure the precise and stable temperature control of the discharge section; comprehensively check the smoothness of the cooling pipelines of the gearbox, and carefully verify whether there are any leaks, blockages, or scaling in the pipelines, to guarantee that the heat dissipation performance of the gearbox meets the standards, and prevent the failure of lubricating oil and damage to transmission components due to high temperatures, thereby avoiding equipment shutdown failures.



5. Inspection of the cooling system of the parallel twin-screw extruder: Conduct a comprehensive inspection of the water circulation pipeline of the equipment to ensure there is no leakage or dripping; Verify the temperature in each area of the barrel to ensure that the temperature control accuracy meets the standards; Check the sensitivity and normal operation of the electromagnetic valves in each section of the barrel; Check the water quality of the circulation water tank to ensure it is clear and clean; Prohibit the use and addition of corrosive liquids and inorganic salt additives in the water tank; Clear and inspect the water circulation heat exchanger to ensure smooth heat exchange and stable cooling circulation.


6. Inspection of cooling pipelines for the three-roller calendering machine rollers: Conduct a thorough inspection of each roller cooling circulation pipeline, ensuring that the rotary joints operate smoothly without water leakage or jamming; Check the sealing performance of the pipelines and the cooling water circulation status. Regularly replace the internal circulating water of the rollers, using industrial softened water or distilled water, effectively avoiding problems such as pipeline blockage, leakage, and insufficient water flow, stabilizing the temperature control accuracy of the rollers, and ensuring the production capacity and product quality of the production line.

7. Inspection of cooling pipeline for roller temperature control system: Conduct a comprehensive inspection of the cooling pipeline of the roller's temperature control system. Regularly clean the filter elements of the pipeline and clear the heat exchange pipe routes to ensure smooth circulation of the cooling medium, normal operation of the heat dissipation devices, and accurate feedback of temperature control signals. Prevent the combined effect of high summer temperatures and the heat load during equipment operation, and eliminate equipment and quality failures such as temperature control failure, roller overheating, and deviation in product thickness.


1.Cooling of the electrical control cabinet: In high-temperature and high-humidity conditions, the electrical control cabinet should be isolated from the source of high-temperature dust. If the ambient temperature is too high, the ventilation or cooling equipment of the cabinet should be turned on to ensure that the internal temperature does not exceed 40℃, and to prevent electrical components from aging or malfunctioning due to high temperatures.
2. Anti-condensation treatment: During the rainy season or when the equipment is shut down, pay attention to checking the sealing condition of the electrical control cabinet. If necessary, activate the dehumidification heating device inside the cabinet to prevent the circuit boards from getting damp and short-circuiting.

1. Oil quality and oil level: The viscosity of lubricating oil tends to decrease at high temperatures. Please check the oil levels and quality of the gearboxes and reducers. If necessary, replace with high-viscosity gear oil specifically for summer use. Ensure that the oil circulation is unobstructed to prevent oil seal leakage or gear wear due to excessively high oil temperature.
2.Key Fastening: Thermal expansion and contraction may cause bolts to loosen. Please stop the machine and conduct a hot-state inspection (be cautious of burns) or perform regular checks on the fastening conditions of the machine head flange, screw connection components, and safety devices.
